GONE

Artwork by Nicole McKenna
Medium:
Neon + sensor (optional)
Synopses: GONE symbolises the flickering moment. The temporal passing of now, from now-to-then (time) and the here-and-now (PRESENT).

GONE is a sculptural light piece, with a timely presence.
As Ireland sits paused, our dreams disabled mid-sequence.
Promised futures have disappeared. Gone!

With a nod to Heidegger’s “Being and Now” and J. M. E. McTaggart’s “In the flow of time”, GONE references classic time theory, but this is not required of the viewer. GONE is a sculptural light piece,  with a timely presence.

GONE… in the wake of now
